Negotiating With God is an intimate account of a young man’s rebirth. Grateful for God’s mercy, Sean makes a promise to live righteous regardless of life’s circumstances. However, he soon becomes grieved with life due to altering situations that makes living nearly unbearable. Overwhelmed by the back-to-back deaths of relatives and feuding with childhood friends. Sean’s structured and once stable life is now inundated with grief and violence. Sean tries to maintain his promise to live right by God, but subsequently ends up hiding behind an abandoned building gently wiping blood from his face. Soft-spoken and peaceful by nature, Sean appeals to God to help him escape from hiding behind the derelict elementary school as a favor, and in return Sean makes another promise.

An easy, yet relatable read. Suspense filled. I give it 4/5 because during the read time became obscured. It was hard to determine "Sean's" age throughout. As it got closer to the ending it seemed As though the author wanted to put as much information as possible in as few pages as possible. It ends in suspense and that's never fun when you don't know when to expect the next book. Overall it was full of suspense while being relatable on many levels. Kudos sirProduct details

Very good read. It related to the many emotional aspects of life.
This story was very emotional in the beginning for me. The conversations with God are some of the same ones I have had. Throughout this book, I found myself thinking of Sean's story...God, Family, Life and Loss and how our circumstances actually mold us...good or bad. This book gave the reader a peek inside the life journey of a boy that grew into a man. I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 only because it ended in a cliffhanger. Otherwise, the book is a worthwhile read and excellently written. I will be reading the 2nd half as soon as it is available.
Each chapter was Action-packed and Addictive! An Amazing and Captivating book for all audiences! I laughed, cried, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time!
As a person who has questioned my very own existence and purpose in life, I felt connected to various aspects of this book. The book speaks about Sean’s journey but his name can easily be replaced with my own or anyone else’s. Everyone’s journey is not the same but the same elements seem to encompass all; Faith, Love, Fear, and Death. I am eager to see where Sean’s journey takes him.
