From the award-winning author of The Beaumont Series, comes a sizzling novella about love, family and making every second count....
Brenna and Jabarie Beaumont have been happily married for nine years. She loves her husband and their five children, but between managing a bookstore and her family, Brenna is starting to feel forced to make a choice between the business she loves and quality time with their children.
As CEO of the Beaumont Corporations, Jabarie’s been busy dealing with problems of his own. The hotel has been hit with economic hardship and has little choice but to lay off ten percent of its staff. But in Sheraton Beach everyone is family, and the Beaumonts are determined to find another way.
With everything going on, Jabarie thinks what he and Brenna need is a vacation, but pulling Brenna away from the kids for an insatiable weekend is easier said than done. Jabarie is willing to use any means necessary to convince her. Unfortunately, getting away complicates matters in more ways than one. Is Brenna and Jabarie’s love strong enough to overcome all the obstacles thrown their way?

I've loved the Beaumont series and Angie's other books. But this one was just...meh. In comparison to other her novels, this seemed like a weak attempt to just come up with something to write about. Wife stressed after five kids, wants to be superwoman, blah, blah, blah. Then there were those oddly-injected raunchy conversations where the author attempted to create a moment of sizzle between the couple. But those dialogues didn't even go with their character and personality. I often skipped around just to make myself finish. This book lacked Angie's usual drama and substance. Sorry, Ms. Daniels, but this wasn't the one for me.Product details

Every Second Counts The Beaumont Series Book 6 edition by Angie Daniels Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was a great sequel about Breanna and Jabarie marriage of nine years and their Fabulous 5 children. They share a great love affair that continues to sizzle. I really enjoyed the story. If you read the first one you will not be surprised. Keep them coming Ms. Daniels.
This was a lovely addition to the Beaumont Series. It was short, but sweet. Family is a wonderful gift and remembering that there's no family without love... is even more important. This novella was a reminder of that.
Great story
I loved this story. I was glad to read about real life issues with a married couple that works and has a family!! It was good to catch up with Jabrie and Brenna and glad to see that when you work together as a team...everything works out!! Once again, Angie Daniels did an excellent job and i eagerly await the next one!!! Great job Ms. Angie!!!!
This book was okay. I love Angie, but this story seemed rushed. I liked the book dispute the feel. Would like to see a little more development in the relationship with the oldest daughter. The parents needed more romance action, not just a hit and miss thing.. Good read. Maybe 7 will be better.
I loved this book. It was great to see how great life had been going for Jabarie and Brenna. We all would love to have the special time together and have all the time in the world for spouse, children and work. It's overwhelming, but working together makes the difference. I did want to spank Arianna for her antics, but everything worked out for the better, so she gets a pass. Would love updates on the rest of the family or even a new Beaumont Book.
The ups and downs of motherhood wife and and a job. The key is a loving husband communication and realizing you can't be every thing without being good to yourself.
