First prepper book I've read and certainly does make you think! Brings to mind what actions you'd take in advance of an emergency such as Earthquake preparedness, but in this book we're talking a global crisis with seemingly apocalyptic possibilities. Likable characters, crisp dialogue and an engaging story line made for a fast read so I''ve already went on to purchase "If You Don't Like The Weather" by same author and look forward to reading that next, Very good book!Product details

I like this believable story with interesting characters. There is plenty of prepping choices in this source of good information.
What I like about his writing is the minimal violence and the fact they are not never ending series. Too often it appears authors carry on all of the series when they should have quit long ago.
Yes, there are some editing issues but nothing like I've seen in others that leave you struggling to figure out what the intent actually was.
Sometimes they are too short or end too suddenly for the conditions he's left us with.
AVERAGE.....GOOD PLOT
Another great story by the king of prep writers. Wish the story could have kept going but that's only because Jerry's writing is so good I want more. Well done.
I have bought all of Jerry's books and find them very interesting. He reminds me of Louis L'amour's books. Plain, simple, with interesting tidbits of knowledge. I will keep reading these and thank you Jerry!
Prepper helps reacquainted friend from high school who has trouble making decisions prep.
A newer twist. We get a leader who is not independently wealthy in this one. In some ways I liked this book and in others not so much. It is well written and the characters are well designed. Maybe I've gotten spoiled with all the expensive survival toys the other stories had.
